Whatta Week

Well this has been a busy week, still trying to finetune the website, welcomed a new performer Peregrine Singh, and learned to stream from my computer. My greatest challenge now is to locate authentic music from the Civil War era and locate dances from the period for the Grand Opening of Tara - most likely to happen on Saturday, May 2 if everything falls into place!

Tranquil cafe website is up!

I can't believe that the website is up - thanks to Mark who did a fantastic job dealing with the arch procrastinator here we have tranquilcafe.com ready for your viewing. It is almost as beautiful as Tranquil. My photoshop skills aren't quite as good as his but maybe I will figure out how he made his pictures have blurry edges, the ones I upload are just plain rectangles.

Big event today the Robert69 Little Tribute Concert, I am just getting nervous - wondering if I can do seven straight hours of meet and greet. Stop over if you get a minute, it is in the Commons and should be fun.

Tomorrow evening we are holding a quieter anniversary get together in the Cafe, Kiaranne Flanagan and Shannon Oherlihy will perform great folk songs for us to reminisce by. Don't miss it!

California Dreamin

I just made my reservations for SLCC in SF in August. It is sooo much fun to meet avatars in person and see behind the screen. Lots planned for Tranquil in April, a special Tribute to Robert69 Little who as rpbizzle on UTube has done videos of over 500 SL music events. Hope we raise bunches of lindens to honor his work.
